Description | Viña Real Reserva Magnum - Red Wine
Viña Real Reserva Magnum - Red Wine is a Rioja Alavesa reserve produced by Viña Real from high-quality plots. The blend is dominated by Tempranillo (90%), complemented by Garnacha, Mazuelo, and Graciano, resulting in a full-bodied, aromatic, and elegant red wine with remarkable aptitude for aging in the bottle. Its vinification and aging follow a classic and careful profile, designed to enhance the depth, structure, and complexity of the wine.
In the glass, it presents an intense, clear, and brilliant Bordeaux ruby red color. The aroma reveals ripe red fruits, enveloped by spicy notes, hints of licorice, and toasted nuances from the oak. On the palate, it is structured, full-bodied, and harmonious, with a long and persistent finish, where suggestions of stewed fruit and fine wood return.
The aging process takes place in new barrels of French and American oak, where the wine remains for an average of 22 months, with regular manual racking during the first year. After bottling, it ages for at least another year and a half in the Viña Real cellars, gaining roundness and complexity. It is recommended to serve it between 17 and 18 ºC. It pairs perfectly with red meats and oily fish.
