Viña del Olivo Reserva Magnum - Red Wine

Viña del Olivo Reserva Magnum - Red Wine is an emblematic wine from Contino, originating from Rioja Alavesa. Made from grapes from the Olivo plot, planted in 1980, it combines Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo, with manual harvesting and a rigorous selection of the bunches. This wine establishes itself as a benchmark of the winery, revealing a mineral, elegant profile and excellent aging potential.

In the glass, it presents a beautiful ruby-red color with a medium-high density. The aroma is intense and expressive, with notes of black fruits such as blackberry and currant, enveloped by balsamic hints of anise, mint, and licorice. On the palate, it is powerful, ample, and balanced, with lively tannins, ripe fruit, and very well-integrated wood, resulting from 18 months of aging in oak barrels from France, the United States, and Hungary.

Of great delicacy and depth, this red wine is designed for special occasions and to be enjoyed with bottle aging. It is recommended to serve it at 16°C. It pairs very well with red meats, game stews, and sausages, enhancing intense and flavorful dishes.
