Joaquim Costa Vargas

Joaquim Costa Vargas wines originate from a family production at Herdade das Assentes de Baixo, between Cuba and Alvito, in the heart of the Alentejo region, in the Vidigueira sub-region. On 25 hectares of vineyards, red grape varieties such as Trincadeira, Aragonês, and Alicante Bouschet predominate, while white varieties include Antão Vaz, Arinto, and Roupeiro. In the winery, tradition and modern winemaking unite to create wines with a distinctly Alentejo character.
