Godeval Revival - White Wine

Godeval Revival - White Wine is a white wine from Valdeorras produced by Bodegas Godeval from the Godello grape variety. It is part of a limited series of 6,600 bottles and originates from a careful selection of the winery's oldest and most emblematic vineyard, "Pancho," planted in entirely schistous soils. This wine also results from a three-year R&D project to define the cryomaceration process of the grapes, establishing itself as a precise expression of the grape variety and the territory.

In the glass, it presents a yellow color with numerous greenish reflections, with a fresh and appealing appearance. The aroma reveals fruity notes of lime and pink grapefruit, accompanied by hints of ginger, on a background of white and stone fruit, with elegant vegetal nuances reminiscent of fennel, bay leaf, and mint. On the palate, it stands out for its intensity, persistence, and balance, with a silky and enveloping texture and a long, slightly bitter aromatic finish that reinforces its personality.

Godeval Revival is also a tribute to the REVIVAL project (Reestructuración Viñedos Valdeorras), developed in the 1970s to recover the Godello variety. The result is a white wine with an elegant and harmonious profile, ideal for serving between 10 and 12 ºC, accompanying shellfish, fish, poultry, mushrooms and creamy cheeses.
