Txakoli Kaiaren - White Wine

Txakoli Kaiaren - White Wine, from Bodega K5, is a single-varietal white wine made from Hondarrabi Zuri grapes from the Txakoli region, produced exclusively from free-run juice. Its great uniqueness lies in its long aging process: it aged for 48 months on fine lees and then completed 24 months of bottle maturation before reaching the market. This is a limited edition of 6739 bottles, which reinforces the distinctive and rare character of this wine.

In the glass, it is bright, clear and crystalline, with medium intensity, a lemon-yellow color and golden reflections. The aromatic profile is intense, elegant and very special, with mineral and white flower notes that evolve into subtly smoky notes, a result of its evolution and aging. On the palate, it shows volume, complexity and a glyceric texture, with toasted notes, hints of pastry and hints of gunpowder, typical of the reduction after bottle aging.

It should be served between 7 and 10 ºC. Its versatility at the table allows it to be paired with seafood, fish, sushi, foie gras, as well as white and red meats. A unique wine, with a sophisticated profile and limited production, designed for those seeking an unusual expression of Hondarrabi Zuri.
