Description | Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc Magnum - White Wine
Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc Magnum - White Wine is one of New Zealand's most emblematic white wines, produced by Cloudy Bay in the Marlborough region from the Sauvignon Blanc grape variety. Originating from vineyards located in the sub-regions of Rapaura, Fairhall, Renwick and Brancott in the Wairau Valley, it reveals the vibrant and precise style that has made this wine renowned worldwide. Vinification takes place mainly in stainless steel tanks, with 4% of the batch fermented in oak barrels, contributing to an intense aromatic expression and a profile of great balance.
In the glass, it presents a straw color with pale green reflections. The aroma is fresh, concentrated and expressive, with notes of ripe grapefruit, lime and passion fruit. On the palate, spicy hints of lime, lemongrass and stone fruit emerge, enveloped by a subtle minerality that prolongs the whole. The finish is long, striking and very elegant, confirming its energetic and sophisticated personality.
It should be served between 8 and 10 ºC to reveal its full aromatic precision and freshness. It is an excellent choice to accompany fresh fish, smoked salmon, shellfish and soft cheeses. In Magnum format, it offers a particularly appealing presence on the table, ideal for sharing moments and special occasions.
