Description | Bassus Pinot Noir Magnum - Red Wine
Bassus Pinot Noir Magnum - Red Wine is a highly elegant red wine produced by Hispano Suizas in the Utiel-Requena region, from the Pinot Noir grape variety. It presents a medium-bodied cherry-red color with violet reflections, revealing its distinct and refined profile from the first glance. The aroma shows high intensity, combining notes of French oak with ripe fruit, where cherry, cassis, and hints of licorice stand out.
On the palate, it reveals itself as full-bodied and velvety, with an elegant texture and a very well-achieved balance. Ripe red fruit dominates the ensemble, accompanied by a subtle toffee background that prolongs the tasting experience and lends it complexity. The minimum aging of 10 months in new French oak barrels contributes to the depth and sophistication of this wine, resulting in a flavorful, delicate, and persistent profile.
Served between 16 and 18 ºC, it pairs particularly well with semi-cured cheeses, oily fish, white meats, and roasted red meats. A benchmark Pinot Noir from Utiel-Requena, widely recognized for its quality and character.
