Description | Viognier del Prieto Pariente - White Wine
Viognier del Prieto Pariente - White Wine is a white wine from Castilla y León, produced by Bodegas José Pariente from Viognier grapes sourced from a small, hidden vineyard in the province of Valladolid. Inspired by the Rhône Valley, this wine is born from careful vinification that seeks to reveal the full expression of the grape variety: part fermentation takes place in stainless steel, another part in ovoid concrete tanks, and another in French oak barrels. This is followed by 6 months of aging on the fine lees, conferring greater complexity, texture, and elegance.
In the glass, it presents a brilliant straw color with greenish reflections. The aroma is fragrant and expressive, with floral notes, hints of wild herbs, citrus, and brioche. On the palate, it stands out for its well-balanced acidity, equilibrium, roundness, and breadth, with a very fruity and mineral journey, evoking dry stone. The finish is persistent, citrusy, and pleasant, concluded with a subtle bitterness that reinforces its personality.
With an original and refined profile, it is a versatile white wine for the table. It is recommended to serve it between 9 and 12 ºC, as an aperitif or to accompany risottos, cheeses and white fish.
