Valteiro Vino Parcelario - Red Wine

Valteiro Vino Parcelario - Red Wine, from Valdesil, is a red wine from Valdeorras that pays homage to the preservation of native Galician red grape varieties. Made from the María Ardoña grape variety, it originates from a plot in Portela, planted by Francisco Prada Gayoso in the 1980s, with the aim of expressing the elegance of the variety and the very characteristic minerality of this soil.

It has a cherry-red color. The aroma features notes of red fruit and violets, accompanied by a subtle mineral touch. On the palate, it reveals a pleasant entry, medium to full body, medium tannins, and a distinctive minerality, finishing in a luscious and long way. Aging includes 4 months in oak barrels, 12 months in tanks, and 4 months in the bottle, contributing to a balanced profile true to the purity of the grape variety.

It should be served between 10 and 12 ºC. It pairs well with veal, poultry and pasta dishes. A wine designed for connoisseurs of authenticity, elegance and expression of terroir.
