Tavedo - Red Wine

Tavedo - Red Wine, from Burmester, is a Port and Douro wine that expresses the classic and accessible profile of the region's red wines. It results from a blend of emblematic Douro grape varieties — Touriga Nacional, Tinta Barroca, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca and Tinto Cão — a combination that contributes to a balanced whole, with vinous character and Douro identity.

In winemaking, the grapes undergo total destemming and crushing, followed by fermentation in stainless steel vats for about 8 days, with the temperature controlled at 22ºC. The grapes come from the sub-regions of Baixo Corgo and Cima Corgo, from vineyards located between 250 and 400 meters of altitude, conditions that help define the style and freshness of the wine.
