Sassicaia - Red Wine

Sassicaia - Red Wine, from Tenuta San Guido, is an unmissable reference from Tuscany and a legendary name in the international wine scene. Considered one of the great wines of Bolgheri, it stood out as a pioneer of the "Super Tuscan" movement, establishing a style of exceptional quality with international grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.

It has an intense, concentrated, and deep ruby color. The aroma is very expressive, seductive, and complex, with a bouquet of sweet and ripe red fruits, Mediterranean herbs, spicy notes, and balsamic hints. On the palate, it is powerful, pure, and elegant, insisting on red fruit and adding nuances of chocolate, vanilla, and a pleasant vegetal freshness.

The 25-month aging in French oak barrels contributes to its structure, elegance, and persistence, supported by silky tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long, memorable finish. It should be served between 16°C and 18°C. It is an excellent choice to accompany game dishes, such as wild boar, and intense, succulent preparations.
