Puro Talha - Red Wine

Puro Talha - Red Wine, by José Maria da Fonseca, is an Alentejo wine inspired by the ancestral tradition of winemaking in clay amphorae, a method deeply rooted in the region's wine culture. Made from the Grand Noir, Trincadeira, Aragonez, and Moreto grape varieties, it reveals a very unique profile, where the identity of the terroir and historical heritage are authentically expressed.

It presents a reddish color with subtle brownish tones. The aroma is dominated by notes of clay, dried fruit, spices such as black pepper and clove, as well as a liqueur-like quality showing signs of evolution, without any oxidized character. On the palate, it shows good structure and dryness, balanced by well-integrated acidity and soft tannins. The finish is long, persistent and full of character, making this wine a distinct option for those who appreciate traditional and expressive Alentejo styles.
