Penfolds Bin 169 - Red Wine is a Cabernet Sauvignon from South Australia that showcases the classic Penfolds signature with great depth and elegance. A limited edition, it presents itself as a distinct expression of this grape variety, with strong concentration and a precise profile, designed for special occasions and for connoisseurs of structured wines.

In the glass, it reveals a dark ruby-red color with purple reflections. On the nose, intense notes of cassis, black plum, and blackberry stand out, enveloped by elegant hints of cedar, tobacco, and a subtle touch of mint. On the palate, it is opulent and well-structured, with fine, silky tannins that lead to a long and refined finish, marked by nuances of dark chocolate and spices.

Aged for 15 months in new French oak barrels, an element that contributes to its complexity and sophistication. It is recommended to serve it between 16ºC and 18ºC. It pairs very well with grilled red meats, stews, lamb and aged cheeses, and is also an excellent choice to enjoy on its own on special occasions.
