Description | Origen de Prieto Pariente - Red Wine
Origen de Prieto Pariente - Red Wine is a red wine from Bodegas José Pariente, part of the Parajes collection, and has been produced for over a decade. It is a single-varietal Tempranillo wine, made from a single vineyard located in Mucientes. After racking, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and ages for 11 months in oak barrels, resulting in a crystalline, complex, and elegant profile.
In the glass, it presents a cherry color with a garnet rim. The aroma is intense and expressive, with black fruit, namely blueberries, accompanied by notes of coffee, cocoa and sweet spices, as well as hints of Monte Baixo on a mineral background. On the palate it reveals itself as juicy, structured and long, with a strong fruity component and a persistent and elegant spicy finish.
It should be served at 16ºC for best enjoyment. Thanks to its body and structure, it pairs very well with red meats, game dishes, roasts, stews and casseroles, making it a versatile choice for hearty and comforting meals.
