Description | José Pariente Verdejo - White Wine
José Pariente Verdejo - White Wine is a benchmark white wine from Bodegas José Pariente, produced in the Rueda region exclusively from the Verdejo grape variety. It expresses the character of this native variety in a fresh and elegant way, combining vivacity, good acidity and a pleasant unctuousness.
In the glass, it presents a bright straw-yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose, it reveals itself as elegant, fresh and complex, highlighting notes of white fruit and citrus, accompanied by hints of fennel, low-lying vegetation, a balsamic background and a subtle mineral memory.
On the palate, notes of fresh fruit reappear, in an unctuous, luscious and elegant ensemble, finished with a smooth bitter touch, characteristic of the grape variety. It shows good structure, persistence and a complex and intense retronasal finish, making it a very appealing and gastronomic wine.
After the harvest, the musts ferment in stainless steel, concrete and wooden vats, then remain on the lees for 4 months. This blend is one of the wine's distinctive features and contributes to its uniqueness. It is recommended to serve it at 8ºC. Ideal as an aperitif or to accompany fish, seafood, pasta, rice dishes, white meats, smoked meats, mild cheeses and sausages.
