Imperial Reserva - Red Wine

Imperial Reserva - Red Wine is one of CVNE's flagship wines, a true icon of Rioja born in the 1920s. Produced in Rioja Alta from a careful selection of grapes, it combines mainly Tempranillo with Graciano, Mazuelo and Garnacha, resulting in a classic, elegant profile deeply connected to the style of the region.

It presents an intense, deep cherry-red color. The aroma reveals a harmonious blend of fruity notes, well integrated with hints from its time in wood. It ages for 2 years in French and American oak barrels, followed by another 2 years of bottle aging, which contributes to its complexity, balance, and distinct character.

On the palate, it is round, enveloping and unctuous, with pronounced yet silky tannins. The finish is long and very pleasant, confirming the elegance and personality that make this wine a benchmark among the great wines of Spain. It is recommended to serve it at 18ºC. It is an excellent accompaniment to red meats, game dishes, oily fish and aged cheeses.
