Enate Merlot-Merlot - Red Wine

Enate Merlot-Merlot - Red Wine is a single-varietal Merlot wine from the Somontano region, designed to express all the exuberance of this grape variety. It presents a very intense cherry-red color and a broad and complex aromatic profile, combining red fruits, balsamic and spicy notes, with hints of eucalyptus and clove, as well as hints of orejones, cocoa and toasty notes from aging.

On the palate it reveals itself as ample, fleshy and enveloping, supported by high-quality sweet tannins. The finish is very persistent, leaving notes of India ink and leather, in a combination of great intensity and character. Malolactic fermentation takes place in new French oak barrels, followed by 13 months of aging and subsequent stabilization before bottling.

It is recommended to decant to avoid sedimentation and serve between 16 and 18 ºC. At the table, it pairs particularly well with game dishes, stews and smoked foods. Enate thus presents an expressive and powerful red wine, very true to the Merlot profile and marked by aromatic depth and persistence on the palate.
