Château d'Yquem 2020 - Sweet Wine is a sweet white wine from Sauternes, in Bordeaux, produced by Château d'Yquem, one of the most emblematic estates in the world of dessert wines. Recognized as a Premier Cru Supérieur, it stands out for its elegance, depth, and remarkable aging potential. It is made from Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc, grape varieties traditionally associated with the grand style of Sauternes.

In the glass, it presents a bright and clear golden color. The aroma is very expressive, refined and noble, with notes of tropical fruits such as mango and pineapple, along with apricot and peach, enveloped by a delicate touch of honey. Floral suggestions and nuances of vanilla and sweet spices, such as cinnamon, resulting from aging in barrels, also emerge.

On the palate, it reveals itself as rich, unctuous and silky, with a marked sweetness balanced by a vibrant acidity. Flavors of ripe fruit and honey are accompanied by hints of caramel and spices, leading to an extremely long and persistent finish. It is recommended to serve it between 6ºC and 8ºC. It pairs especially well with blue cheeses such as Roquefort, foie gras, quail, duck, other poultry, sushi and rich, creamy desserts.
