Cepa Gavilan Crianza Magnum - Red Wine

Cepa Gavilan Crianza Magnum - Red Wine, from Viña Pedrosa, is a red wine from Ribera del Duero made from Tempranillo grapes. Being a crianza, it presents itself as a young wine within the winery's range, but with remarkable expression and character. Originating from young vines, between 10 and 15 years old, it ages for 12 months, gaining opulence, concentration, and a fruity and flavorful profile that highlights the personality of the grape variety.

In the glass, it displays an intense deep red color with violet reflections, great depth, and brilliance. The aroma reveals an exuberant profile, dominated by ripe black fruit, with notes of blackberry and blueberry, on a mineral, balsamic, and spicy background. On the palate, it presents an enveloping texture, delicacy, and ripe tannins, with a balanced and expressive taste. The finish is intense and persistent, with hints of fruit, vanilla, and pastry on the retronasal surface.

This is a gastronomic wine, with structure and freshness, ideal to accompany roasted and stewed meats. It is recommended to serve it between 16 and 18 ºC. In a Magnum format, it gains even greater presence at the table, being an excellent choice to share on special occasions.
