Biserno - Red Wine

Biserno - Red Wine is the flagship wine of Tenuta di Biserno in Tuscany, and perfectly represents the estate's profile. This Italian red wine is the result of a classic Bordeaux-inspired blend, made from Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and a small proportion of Petit Verdot, sourced from the estate's best vineyards. It is aged for 15 months in French oak barrels, 85% of which are new, followed by at least six months in the bottle, contributing to its complexity and balance.

It has a deep ruby-red color. The aroma features notes of ripe red fruit, accompanied by nuances from its aging in wood. On the palate, it reveals a full body, a vibrant entry, and a dense, elegant tannic texture, finishing with a persistent and remarkably clear finish. It is a wine that combines delicacy, elegance, complexity, intensity, freshness, and length. It is recommended to serve it between 18 and 20 ºC. It pairs very well with cheeses, red and white meats, as well as poultry.
