Description | Albariño La Val - White Wine
Albariño La Val - White Wine is a white wine from Bodega La Val, in the Rías Baixas region, made exclusively from the Albariño grape variety. It results from a blend of grapes from three types of soil — Taboexa, Arantei and Porto — which contribute to its fresh, fruity and mineral profile. Hand-harvesting and fermentation in stainless steel help preserve the aromatic purity and balance of this wine.
In the glass, it presents an intense straw-yellow color with bright greenish reflections, very clear and appealing. The aroma highlights Atlantic notes of fresh herbs and bay leaf, accompanied by subtle floral and citrus hints, as well as pleasant suggestions of white fruit and stewed fruit. On the palate, it reveals itself as fresh and flavorful, with citrus notes filling the palate and a long, saline and mineral finish, with a slight bitter touch that reinforces its personality.
It should be served at 12ºC. It is an excellent choice to accompany shellfish and fish, but also pairs very well with fresh cheeses, foie gras, poultry, rice dishes and pasta.
