Vinha Antiga Alvarinho - White Wine

Vinha Antiga Alvarinho - White Wine is a white wine from the Vinho Verde region, produced by PROVAM from the Alvarinho grape variety. Made with grapes from old vines, it reveals the distinct profile of this variety, in a style that combines freshness, aromatic expression and complexity. In production, the grapes are transported in 20 kg boxes and pressed whole with skin maceration. The must is then clarified at 12 ºC for 48 hours, followed by fermentation and aging in French oak barrels for several months.

In the glass, it is clear and straw-yellow in color. The aroma is intense and varietal, with floral and fruity notes, citrus hints, and nuances of honey, vanilla, and spices, resulting from aging in wood. On the palate, it shows a balance between freshness and volume, with an enveloping texture and an exuberant, complex, and persistent finish.
