Rosa Rivero Crianza - Red Wine

Rosa Rivero Crianza - Red Wine is a benchmark red wine from Virgen del Galir, produced in the Valdeorras region from the Mencía grape variety. It is a pioneering wine, described by the winery as the first wine classified as crianza in the Valdeorras Denomination of Origin and throughout Galicia. It originates from century-old vines and reveals a distinct profile, marked by the identity of the grape variety and the careful influence of aging.

After malolactic fermentation, it ages for 12 months in French oak barrels and a minimum of 6 months in the bottle before reaching the market. It presents a deep red color with garnet hues. On the nose, it shows high intensity, with a strong fruity and mineral expression, accompanied by toasted notes from the wood and ripe fruit. On the palate it is flavorful, with very ripe tannins, balanced acidity and hints of ripe grape bunches, finishing long and elegant.

It is recommended to serve it at 16ºC. It is an excellent option to accompany stewed chicken, red meats, pasta with meat, and goat cheese.
