Montado - Red Wine

Montado - Red Wine, by José Maria da Fonseca, is a red wine from the Alentejo region made from the Aragonez, Trincadeira, Syrah, and Alicante Bouschet grape varieties. It has a ruby color and an aromatic profile where notes of chocolate, tobacco leaf, and wood stand out. The combination of these grape varieties gives it a balanced expression, typical of the region, with an accessible and versatile character.

On the palate it reveals itself as fruity and smooth, with soft yet present tannins, providing a harmonious and pleasant tasting experience. Vinification with maceration at 28ºC with stems contributes to its structure and defined profile. It is an easy wine to enjoy on different occasions, pairing well with meals or convivial moments at the table.
