Marqués de Griñón Emeritus - Red Wine

Marqués de Griñón Emeritus - Red Wine is a red wine produced by Marqués de Griñón, in the Dominio de Valdepusa region, from the Syrah, Petit Verdot and Graciano grape varieties. It ages for 10 months in new and semi-new French Allier oak barrels, a process that contributes to its elegant, structured and expressive profile. The name refers to the pure limestone subsoil, recognized for its structure, drainage and porosity as especially suitable for the production of high-quality wines.

In the glass, it presents a deep violet color with brilliant cherry reflections. The aroma reveals a complex fruity expression, with notes reminiscent of wild blackberries and ripe cherries, enveloped by mineral hints and a fresh touch of mint. On the palate, it is ample and silky, with intense personality, great structure and a fleshy texture that leads to a long and persistent finish. A wine that reflects the minerality and character of Dominio de Valdepusa, ideal to accompany Mediterranean dishes, pasta, risottos and game or poultry. It is recommended to serve at 16ºC.
