Description | Malleolus de Sanchomartin Magnum - Red Wine
Malleolus de Sanchomartin Magnum - Red Wine is a wine of great character produced by Emilio Moro in the prestigious Ribera del Duero region, from Tempranillo grapes. It is a single-varietal wine originating from the Pago de Sanchomartín vineyards, planted in 1944 and subsequently grafted with scions from the family's oldest vines. Malolactic fermentation and aging take place in new French oak barrels, contributing to its depth, elegance, and remarkable aging potential.
In the glass, it presents an intense deep red color with a very dense layer. On the nose, it reveals intense aromas of the grape variety, in perfect harmony with the wood used in its aging. On the palate, it is complex and elegant, with good body, structured and rounded tannins, finishing with a long and persistent finish. It is an intense and assertive red wine, widely recognized in several vintages by national and international critics, designed for connoisseurs of profound and distinctive wines.
It is recommended to serve it at 16ºC. It pairs particularly well with ribeye steak, large game, cold cuts, and aged cheeses.
