Description | Jesus Madrazo Seleccion Ribera del Duero - Red Wine
Jesús Madrazo Seleccion Ribera del Duero - Red Wine is a red wine from the Ribera del Duero region, part of Jesús Madrazo's personal project. Made primarily with Tempranillo (92%) and a small contribution of Garnacha (8%), it comes from biodynamic vines over 50 years old, located in Aranda and Zazuar. Vinification takes place at the Territorio Luthier winery, with fermentation in stainless steel tanks and used barrels, without the use of added yeasts or bacteria, followed by 18 months of aging in the same barrels. Clarification is done with organically produced egg whites.
In the glass, it presents a garnet red color, with medium-high intensity and a violet rim. The aroma highlights balsamic and mineral notes, enveloped by black fruit, red fruit, spices, and cocoa. On the palate, it is smooth and delicate at first, evolving into an intense and complex expression, with floral hints, coffee, fruit liqueur, tobacco, and black licorice. The tannins are sweet and balanced, in a combination that blends power, elegance, and harmony. It is recommended to serve at 18ºC.
