Fafide Reserve - White Wine

Fafide Reserva - White Wine is a wine from Quinta de Fafide, in the Porto and Douro region, made from the Códega do Larinho, Rabigato and Viosinho grape varieties. It results from a white blend that seeks to preserve the aromatic expression of the grapes and the identity of the Douro terroir, combining freshness, structure and balance.

The grapes are harvested manually and vinified using cold fermentation in a reducing environment with a controlled temperature of around 16°C, a process that helps maintain the aromatic purity and vivacity of the wine. Part of the batch ferments in used French oak and, after a short racking, the wine remains on fine lees with regular stirring, contributing to greater complexity, texture and depth.

The result is a white wine with a refined and gastronomic profile, where natural freshness combines with a more enveloping component, subtly marked by aging. An interesting choice for those who appreciate Douro white wines with character, precision, and a good presence on the palate.
