Description | Enrique Mendoza Pinot Noir Crianza - Red Wine
Enrique Mendoza Pinot Noir Crianza - Red Wine is a red wine from the Alicante region, produced by Bodegas Enrique Mendoza from the Pinot Noir grape variety. Made on the slopes of Cabezo de la Virgen, in Villena, it showcases a Mediterranean interpretation of a Burgundian variety, resulting in a fresh, balanced, and very easy-to-drink wine. Production is carried out with great care and using sustainable agricultural practices, without herbicides, insecticides, or systemic products.
It presents a ruby-red color with garnet nuances and medium intensity. On the nose, fresh red fruit, floral notes and a marked minerality stand out, enveloped by a subtle background of toast, smoke and vanilla. On the palate, it reveals good structure, a fine profile and a smooth texture, with pleasant, lively and juicy tannins. Fermented in small stainless steel tanks, it aged for 6 months in new and one-year-old French Allier oak barrels, gaining complexity without losing its fruity expression.
It should be served between 16 and 18 ºC. It is an excellent choice to accompany sausages, cow's milk cheeses, roasts, stews and red meats.
