Domini - Red Wine

Domini - Red Wine is a red wine from the Porto and Douro region produced by José Maria da Fonseca, designed to express the character of the Douro grape varieties Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca. This blend brings together emblematic varieties of the region, known for their aromatic intensity, structure and elegance, resulting in a red wine with a balanced profile and very appealing for different occasions at the table.

In the glass, it presents a dark ruby color and a seductive aroma, highlighting notes of rockrose, fig, blueberries, spices, and oak. On the palate, it reveals itself as fruity, soft, and harmonious, with present but well-integrated tannins, providing an engaging tasting experience and a medium to long finish. It is a wine with good aromatic expression and a pleasant texture, combining freshness and structure.

Fermentation takes place with skin contact at 28°C, followed by 3 months of aging in new French and American oak, contributing to the complexity and elegant profile of the whole. Versatile at the table, it pairs particularly well with roasted or grilled red meats and soft cheeses. It is recommended to serve at 14°C to best appreciate its aromas and balance.
