Covela Avesso Reserve - White Wine

Covela Avesso Reserva - White Wine is a wine from Quinta de Covela, in the Vinho Verde region, made from the Avesso grape variety. It is a carefully crafted and distinctive expression of this variety, combining freshness, elegance and depth in a white wine of great character.

According to available information, production involves manual harvesting and transport in small boxes to preserve the integrity of the grapes. This is followed by manual selection, destemming, and gentle pressing. Fermentation occurs spontaneously in French and Austrian oak barrels, with aging on fine lees and occasional batonnage, contributing to the wine's complexity and texture.

In the glass, it presents a bright golden color with straw reflections. The aroma reveals floral elegance, accompanied by notes of orchard fruit, such as apple, peach and nectarine, joined by more exotic nuances of pineapple and fresh coconut. On the palate, it is creamy and simultaneously refreshing, with mineral acidity, good intensity and a persistent finish, in a harmonious combination of fruit, freshness and oak.

It is recommended to serve it between 8ºC and 10ºC to best appreciate its profile.
