Burmester - Red Wine

Burmester - Red Wine is a wine from the Porto and Douro region, made from the Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz grape varieties. This classic Douro combination gives rise to a balanced and expressive profile, where structure and intensity combine with the aromatic elegance characteristic of the region.

According to available information, the grapes are harvested manually in the sub-regions of Cima Corgo and Douro Superior, areas recognized for their natural conditions favorable to fruit ripening. In the winery, the wine is produced with complete destemming and crushing, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature between 24 and 25 ºC for 15 days.

Part of the batch is aged for 9 months in French and American oak barrels, contributing to greater complexity and depth. The result is a versatile and gastronomic red wine, suitable to accompany red meats, cheeses or roasted oily fish. Burmester - Red Wine thus reveals the Douro character in a solid, classic and appealing expression for different moments at the table.
