Description | Branco de Talha - White Wine
Branco de Talha - White Wine, from Fita Preta, is a white wine from the Alentejo region made from the Roupeiro and Antão Vaz grape varieties. Its production is inspired by the traditional clay amphora method, with grapes pressed in whole bunches and fermentation in 1000-liter amphorae dating from 1946, at a controlled temperature of 14ºC. After 28 days, the wine is transferred to stainless steel tanks, then clarified with bentonite and cold-stabilized before bottling.
In its tasting profile, it reveals freshness, good acidity, and an enveloping texture, with earthy notes that give it personality and a connection to the winemaking method. It is a gastronomic white wine, particularly interesting at the table, pairing well with lighter dishes, especially preparations with mushrooms or root vegetables, such as beetroot. A wine that combines authenticity, Alentejo tradition, and varietal expression in a distinctive style.
